Sorry I haven't uploaded a lot lately.... I'm in sort of an art block, and most of what I've been drawing is Animal Crossing art. /u\
It's been good practice so far what with hair and proportions, along with expressions, and my hands have gotten a bit better now that I know how to sketch them out rather than draw them haphazardly and change one or two things here or there (I still haven't grasped knuckles yet... I'm getting there!)
But yeah. Also, I'm probably gonna be cleaning up my gallery out and deleting the old stuff I can't stand to look at anymore. I don't feel like redrawing them, but I might do it for one or two pieces.

Obligatory Halloween Update
Howdy, I'm not dead! Just hanging over at my humble hovel over at twitter and tumblr. Considering how foreign deviantart started to feel for me after people started abandoning it in droves for other social medias, and the non-intuitive Eclipse update pushing me further into avoidance for using DA, I simply haven't been motivated as much to check in on a daily basis like I used to many years ago. But I always periodically log in just to see how my friends on here are doing. It's a bit silly for me to keep only 1 account updated and not the others, so I promise to keep the backlog on this account to a minimum. Do expect quite an influx onto your notifs feed from me soon. I hope you enjoy what I have for you to look at. :)

Been awhile since I wrote here, but may as well.
Sorry I've been basically inactive since February. School has had me in a death grip and I'm struggling to save my grades before it's too late. As a result, art has been on the backburner. I've been trying to write in the meantime, but I have a difficulty in sitting down and finishing entire chapters in whole sittings, and I feel that for my non-one-off stories, my writing/prose has gotten rusty.
There IS a project I'm working on, but it's super secret bc it's a passion project that's essentially nothing but my own wish-fulfillment. I don't really intend on showing it off because it's entirel
Some Self-Reflection
I don't normally write journals, but it's probably the only time I get to write down stuff I want to talk about, and what bothers me a lot is probably my own opinion on my art.
So, to make myself feel better I should probably be reflective about it.
Things I like about my art:
I kind of like my coloring? Idk, I feel more comfortable coloring things than doing the linework for them. My stuff looks really good when I put in the maximum effort to color them.I'm very good at refining my sketches.I feel that my usage of color is at least somewhat aesthetically pleasing?Designing outfits and coloring those are probably my strong suits.My OC art.

So apparently, the way you can organize your gallery has changed. Leave it up to the admins at dA to not send an announcement out about it... (seriously, I don't check any of the admins/site update journals because I don't need more shit clogging up my feed as it is. lmao)
So for my friends who pop in every once in a blue moon to upload, I figure they'll have a higher probability of knowing this change through my or someone else's journal than the relatively estranged admins'.
